We brought our own stuff and don't remember a fee but I'm not sure....always best if I call ahead especially if planning something, enjoy!
Yes it is but call and reserve a table if you can.
Best to call in advance
You should probably call the restaurant and ask them just to make sure.
I would leave 10 if I could.. Trust me and try the Fisherman's pie . So good!!!! Wings are the best in Blowing Rock!
Service was incredibly poor. We sat for 20 minutes before a server even came to our table. Another 30 minutes passed before our drinks arrived. The drinks weren’t even complicated... a glass of wine and a crown and club. One HOUR and a half after we were seated, our food arrived. There was only 2 of us and I ordered a salad. There really should be no excuse for this length of wait. The atmosphere was nice, but I wouldn’t recommend coming for dinner if you’re hungry. Maybe just for the music and the views. Otherwise, find another restaurant.
Absolutely beautiful setting in Chetola Resort. We had a drink and corned beef sandwich for lunch. Service was great too.
Nice restaurant located on the Resort Grounds. We had the Breakfast Buffet and it was wonderful. Eggs, Bacon, French Toast, Grits, Pastries and more. Very good place to start your day.
The atmosphere is lovely and charming but the food and service was substandard. The fried oysters were good but the appetizer came out before our drinks, first issue. Drink orders were super slow. The house salad and dressings were nice; fresh. My chicken entree was super boring and should have been flavorful with fontina and prosciutto but it was not, and it was dry, so I requested more gravy, which I thought was a strange combination to begin with. My friend had the Jack Daniel steak which was good. Overall the service was slow and nothing to write home about. The atmosphere is fabulous and the views are lovely but I’m not impressed with the food or service.
Beautiful setting at the Chetola Lodge. I was able to make reservation on Google very easily. Great service, incredible selection of drinks and dishes. Our food was cooked and prepared perfectly. There is also a nice patio area with a fire overlooking a lake. Convenient to Blowing Rock and Boone. When we were there they had musicians playing in the lobby area, not sure how often they have this. It really made for a great atmosphere.
It was exceptional our waiter CODY was great very kind and spoke respectfully and keeping us and himself safe by wearing his facemask at all times. Also he was very much attentive. The restaurant itself great atmosphere and the food was delicious. Thanks to the staff again.
Fried green tomatoes were great as a shared appetizer. Everyone enjoyed their meal. It was amazing.
The tomatoe soup was out of this world delicious, I had the salmon and it was cooked to perfection, my husband had the filet and he enjoyed his meal. However we ordered the chocolate tart for dessert. There was no mention this contained coconut, which it did, and I have not eat due to food restrictions. Our server replaced it immediately with a brownie Sunday.I thoroughly enjoyed the environment. Our service was outstanding and very nice. The view outside was amazing even with all the rain we had all weekend.
Wonderful dinner with my wife on the patio by the fire. We had the fried oysters and fried green tomatoe apps followed by the JD NY strip and the blackened Cajun seafood pasta. Everything was cooked well and tasted good. Service was decent also.
The restaurant is nice and the live music is great. Really classy place, but that's the extent of the appeal. The food was decent, the service was slow, and the drinks were subpar. I had the duck breast and couldn't manage to finish it - even after three Bloody Marys (which were pretty tame). Overall, I won't be coming back here.
Classy, elegant dining in lodge atmosphere. We went to Timberlake's for our anniversary dinner last night and were impressed by the service (excellent job Chloe!), the ambiance (we had a small table for two overlooking the lake and beside a fireplace) and the excellent food ( my husband had Elk loin steak in a maple bacon glaze and I had the NY strip with lyonnais sauce and blue cheese butter). It was an excellent culinary experience complete with wine and craft beer for under $100! The views of the lakes along with the bonfire outside and live music inside made for a memorable evening.
The decor is nice, but the food is basically chain restaurant quality, with an inflated price point. I ordered a filet mignon rare and it came out near medium with some kind of flavorless sauce, and my wife had a seafood pasta which she described as “olive garden esq”. Recommend for the scenery, but you’d be advised to look elsewhere for dinner.
Best breakfast buffet in town and my favorite pub lunch menu! And we Always come here for the Holiday Specials!!
My family went to the restaurant May 24, 2019 for dinner. They had live music that was so loud I could not hear myself talk and no way the waiter could have taken our order. There was no where in the restaurant they could have moved us and not have the loud music blaring in our ears. We got up and left to find a quiet place to eat. The worst dinning experience in my entire life. If you are looking for a nice quiet place to eat you should looke else where.
I love this place. Great food and great service every time. The people who work here are happy to chat and the fire is always warm.
Ate on the patio for dinner. Wonderful food and atmosphere
The chicken tenders are not your drive thru tenders, they are seasoned and breaded perfectly (so our sons said) The burgers are truly out of this world! Yes, burgers!! Great taste, juicy and full of flavor. We believe the fries are hand cut and seasoned to perfection! The tomato and gouda soup was creamy and wonderful. We tried the earl grey creme brulee and it is a masterpiece. Our waiter suggested the Jack Daniels wings and he was 100% correct. The flats were the best and the real blue cheese was a nice touch. You will not be disappointed!
The convenience of the restaurant is great when staying at Chetola. Having a toddler and an infant we were able to eat breakfast here and have a nice dinner outside. Food is great as is the service. Everyone was so nice.
The food was delicious and the service was amazing! Thank you Dalton!
Excellent service and food
Great service, great food
Best steak I've ever eaten.
Excellent food, surrounded in beautiful decor. The Elk Loin was awesome, highly recommend this destination restaurant for your next special dinner.
